The Holy Bible is the Word of God.
The Commandments, and guidance to all people, nations, and languages, are written in the Holy Scriptures. His Word is alive and current:
The person who wants to understand the Will of God and practice His teachings needs to read the Holy Bible. It’s the Guide that perfects us on continuous learning; and is the best learning you can receive over your life:
“All the Holy Scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16
The Holy Bible is made up of the Old and New Testaments and is not an ordinary book of stories.
And, there are differences in the verses in the different translations of the Bible.
In English, King James Bible (not updated) is faithful. (Textus Receptus)
You need to have your own Holy Bible.
It is good to develop the habit of reading it daily. Reserve the time and place for it.
Before reading, kneel down and thank God that you are in His Presence.
Then, sit down and read.
You can start by reading the Psalms, the Proverbs, and the Gospels; and you can also ask God to show you what you need to read.
In the finish, thank the Lord for His love and mercy, and well-being, for your family and everyone.
So, do your daily tasks normally.

If one wants and needs to walk in the darkness for its own reasons, then one needs to hide, avoid, or eliminate the LIGHT source.
The Holy Bible is the source of Light that bothers motives and darkness reasons. It can be denied, ignored, fought, and even used to lie and deceive (as they do churches, religions, and apostate Protestantism that claim to be Christian), but Word of God cannot be eliminated and neither to cease to be fulfilled, for better or worse.

Dear God, I praise and adore You because You are the Lord of everything and everyone. You are Holy, Just, Loving, and Powerful.
I thank You for creating this person in Your image and likeness, and for having a special purpose for their life. I thank You for all the blessings that You have poured out upon them, and for all the times that You have taken care of them.
And, I ask that You fulfill the desires of their heart, according to Your will. Also, I ask that You meet their material, emotional, spiritual, and relational needs. Not only that, but I ask that You fulfill their dreams and Your plans for them.
Likewise, I ask that You protect them from all evil, guide them in all truth, strengthen them in all weakness, and bless them in every area. I ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, make them grow in Your grace and knowledge, and make them bear fruit for Your glory.
I end this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Your beloved Son, who died on the cross for my sins and the sins of this person, and who rose again on the third day, guaranteeing our salvation and our victory. Amen.
You can pray this prayer anywhere and anytime, aloud or silently, with your eyes open or closed, kneeling or standing, alone or with others.
The important thing is that you say this prayer with sincerity and faith, believing that God is listening and answering you.
